Job Description
Provided dedicated care for one boy from 5 months through 2 years of age, supporting his development and changing needs throughout infancy and toddlerhood. I managed his daily routine, including naps, meals, play, and outings, while adapting his schedule as he transitioned from three naps to two. I created engaging, age-appropriate developmental activities and provided consistent one-on-one interaction to encourage his cognitive, physical, language, and social development. I regularly took him on walks to the nearby park for outdoor play and exploration. In addition to childcare, I assisted with household organization, children’s laundry, and loading and unloading the dishwasher. The family had a dog, although pet care was not part of my responsibilities.
Reasons for Leaving
My time with the family transitioned when they decided to enroll their son in a daycare program that offered more days of care and was partially covered through their employers’ childcare benefits. This was simply a change in their childcare needs and was a positive and amicable transition. I have continued to maintain a great relationship with the family, and they have continued to utilize me for occasional care as needed.
