Reasons for Leaving

I left the family in March 2024 when my aunt in Greece was diagnosed with cancer, and she had no one to care for her. I spent seven months in Greece supporting her through this difficult time. Sadly, my aunt passed away, and I returned to Los Angeles in mid September.

During my absence, the family’s needs had shifted: the older girls were in college and self-sufficient, while the youngest, still in school, was well looked after by her mother and grandmother.

We are so close that this past summer, the family visited us in Greece and spent three meaningful weeks together. They were with me during the passing of my aunt which was so precious.

I still work with the family whenever needed but the girls are old enough now and independent.
